[REVIEW] Calais : Artisan Bubble Tea & Coffee

Calais is a newly opened drink shop in a mall near my house - Summarecon Mall Serpong. "Calais" is placed in the corner where people rarely come there. I must admit that at first, I didn't even know that "Calais" is existed. Not until I saw a big banner, promoting "Calais". And then, I decided to come with my friend to try a drink.
Just like "ChaTime" or "Comebuy", "Calais" sold many variety of drinks and toppings, available in regular and large cup. I was just lucky because I got large cup. It's a promotion - free upsize from July 4th until July 21st 2013.
The drink beside is Matcha Latte with Red Beans. Actually, I'm not a type of person that likes to try new food or drink, especially the weird one and nobody recommends me to buy them. However, my friend was curious with "Calais", leading me to buy one too.
My friend bought Honey Milk Tea with Bubble and I bought Matcha Latte with Red Beans. I like bubble actually, however I was just too lazy to munch them, so I decided to buy red beans which are softer.
The taste of red beans is quite stronger than the taste of matcha. However, I still like my drink. I tasted my friend's honey milk tea and I thought it's not as sweet as my drink. I like sweet things, so I think Matcha Latte with Red Beans is compatible for me.
Why "Calais"?
Bubble is quite popular in Indonesia, thanks to "ChaTime". There're three drink shops those are selling drinks with bubble as topping in Summarecon Mall Serpong - "Comebuy", "Calais", and another one I don't know that shop. I think it's as new as "Calais" too. "Comebuy", "Calais", and "ChaTime" are from Taiwan.
"Calais" has the same taste of bubble as "ChaTime" and I won't recommend you to taste "Comebuy" (I bought one and in the end, I didn't drink it up and threw it). However, in my mall, there's no "ChaTime", leaving people with other two choices : "Calais" or "Comebuy". People those who like to buy "Comebuy" should try to buy "Calais" - it's cheaper and tastier than "Comebuy".
However, I think "Comebuy" is quite popular since it's the first drink shop in my mall and its location is open, not in the corner like "Calais".
